01 · SELF-ASSESSMENT
Accountability framework, applied
An operator works through what it records, retains and could produce if an autonomous manoeuvre were later questioned, and sees where the gaps sit.
GOVERNANCE TOOLKIT
IN DEVELOPMENT
The project's findings assembled as something a regulator, operator or insurer can work through directly, free to use and published on this site. It is built in the final phase of the award, after the framework has been tested with the people it would bind. This page sets out what it will contain.
FOUR MODULES
01 · SELF-ASSESSMENT
An operator works through what it records, retains and could produce if an autonomous manoeuvre were later questioned, and sees where the gaps sit.
02 · COMPARISON
The standards of care imposed by statute and by private instrument, set side by side across the seven jurisdictions in the study.
03 · DRAFTING
Clause text for licences, contracts and inter-operator agreements, with notes on what each provision is doing and where it has been tested.
04 · EVIDENCE
The technical specifications, insurance requirements and data-sharing terms that function as rules, searchable and classified by the actor that issues them.
RELEASE
Nothing in the toolkit is released before it has been through validation with regulators and industry. Interim findings appear as policy briefs in the meantime, and each module is dated and versioned when it goes up.
The toolkit is one of the project’s named outputs. The others, and their expected reporting points, are listed with the deliverables.
